341 Meeting

You attend virtual court with Marcus Herbert to have a short meeting with the trustee to review your case. Creditors can, but don’t often, appear to ask questions.

 
Differences between discharge times in chapter 7 and chapter 13 repayment plan personal bankruptcies

Discharge

In Chapter 7 cases, you will receive a discharge order between 60 - 90 days after your 341 meeting. In Chapter 13 cases, you will receive a discharge on any remaining debt balances between six and eight weeks after making your plan's final payment. Once discharged, you no longer have a legal obligation to pay old debts, and the creditor has no right to collect.
